wording on each of the ballots.

“Shall the City of Batavia, Kane and DuPage Counties, Illinois,
acquire, construct, own, or operate a telecommunications system
which includes cable television, internet and telephone services,
and, if necessary, issue general obligation bonds in an amount up
to $22,000,000 for the acquisition, construction, ownership and
operation of the system?”
- three questions (You need
to vote "YES" to all three of these in
order for the Broadband Initiative to pass in Geneva.)
1) Shall the ordinance authorize the City of Geneva to acquire a
community antenna television system?
2) Shall the ordinance authorize the City of Geneva to acquire a
public utility for telephone service?
3) Shall the ordinance authorize the City of Geneva to operate for
hire a public telephone service for the use of private consumers
or users?
- one question
"Shall the City of St. Charles, Kane and DuPage Counties, Illinois
acquire, construct, own, or operate a telecommunications system,
which includes cable television, Internet and telephone services
and issue general obligation bonds in the amount of $31,000,000
for the acquisition, construction, ownership and operation of the
system?"
